DIY Anthro Inspired Book
I saw a whole series of book displays at Anthropologie in Boise, ID a couple of years ago and was completely inspired to add some book art to my house. Only, it took 2 years and 3 moves to finally do something about it...

So I am rounding the bend on my husbands awesome purple wingback chair (that I am doing in my class) and have been trolling for inspiration. In doing such, I have learned that the wingback is back...

About Me
My name is Haley and I am an Engineer gone MOM. Prior to my current job I had the opportunity to work with a subcontractor for NASA on the next space suit design. As you can imagine I often get asked: What do you do now?
Well….aside from the all consuming momhood, I have recently discovered a knack and passion for upholstery. and I LOVE it.
I hope to use this blog as a journal of what I have learned and as a tutorial of sorts for beginners to freshen up that old piece in their home.
NOTE: The information on this site is only my opinion and what I have learned from others and from making mistakes. I will do my best to give you all the info you need to go out there and hipholster it up. If you are concerned about your piece turning out pristine, I advise buying/borrowing professional tools, taking a class in your community, or paying for a professional job. However, you will be surprised how great your piece can look with a little time and elbow grease.

Hello!
So, I have attempted to blog several times for the benefit of my posterity, to keep a journal, or to let my friends and family see what I am up to...so far, 3 failed attempts.
I realized that if I'm going to blog about what I'm doing, it should be about the fun stuff I'm doing, the things I am learning, not just the day to day cuteness of my kid and general awesomeness of my husband. So here you go world (or maybe just family and close friends with internet access)
